My passport will be expiring Dec 2019, I am May 2018 applicant and gusto ko sana i-renew baka kasi abutan ng matagal na process. But the submitted passport name ko is yung maiden name ko pa. If I renew, I have to declare I am married and I will be using my husband's last name na. How do I update MVO about it? or what's the best thing to do? Thank you.

Just get it renewed soon then scan and email the new passport that you have.to MVO. There shouldn't be any added delay to your application. You need your passport to not be expiring within 6 months of you entering Canada. If your passport will expire on December 15, 2019 as an example, you need to arrive in Canada before June 15, 2019.

Thank you for your response, synoptic. That's true, it's what I was considering. I'll just call na lang siguro MVO din to ask where I can email it. Or, does anybody know their contact number? I appreciate all the help.

Just email them MANILIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca
Before compossinh a message put your name , birthday, uci number and application number.
