Spousal VISA, DECEMBER 2017 applicant in MANILA VISA OFFICE

Hello, my husband received an email on July 5, 2018 stating that our application for PR has been forwarded to the visa office of Manila for further processing. As of the moment this is the current stat when I logged in at my cic accout. :

Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Anyone here experiencing the same thing? We are both wondering what's next or at least what to expect. Thank you very much.


By the way, we applied May 18, 2018 and accomplished Medical exam on July 3, 2018. I am currently living in Manila Salamat.

Well they will going to review of your application if they want more additional documents for your application then they will send you an email but if you satisfy them ,then they will send you a pre arrival letter or they will start the background check .

Hi @acmlaz0217 We are likely in the same time frame. Our application was received by CIC on May 15 and did the medical exams on June 27, it was forwarded to MVO on July 6. Still waiting for updates until now.

For sure PPR na next, according to CIC website 11 months processing for dependent child/children..
I'm also sponsoring my 2 kids:
Applied - June 5 2017
AOR 1 - July 16
SA - July 18
Med Request- July 23
Med Received- July 31
AOR 2- July 31

Long way to go expecting PPR by February next year.

Thank you po sa reply! Yup 11 months po sa children ang processing and adult is 12 months all in n po un so I am expecting September 27 2018 for ppr and I hope so! Kasi po diba base nila ung date kung kelan nrecieve yong application? Sept 27 2017 nrecieved CIC ang application!
