Hi guys. I have a question I would like your input on.
I am assisting my mother in the application forms. She is sponsoring my dad.
This is concerning the Document Checklist first question.
“The person I am sponsoring...and was already examined as a ..... when I applied for a permanent resident visa and did not receive an immigrant visa.”(Note: if you have never applied for a PR visa, answer no)
In 2007 my mother applied for PR with my dad and siblings under her application . In 2008 she was successful and we all received immigrant visas and all became landed PR except my dad.
he chose not to accept PR and did not “land”. He came as as a visitor back and forth.
What do you guys suggest is the best answer ?
he was examined etc and was given a COPR that hewas to use on landing to become a PR but he declined(work related )
