spousal sponsorship

I am a Canadian citizen and I recently got married to a girl who is a Mexican. she came to Canada as a student and later overstayed in Canada for three years. but she has no removal order against her. can I sponsor her under spousal sponsorship.
if not how should I deal with it.

He may have some status issues as well. He is a Canadian Citizen who came to Canada as an immigrant on October 2017 as per that thread. Took him 5 months to become a citizen.
