My spouse is from India and applying outland would mean longer processing times. The PGWP he would get is going to be valid for 1 year only as his course was 1 year long. Can we apply Inland and still put Temporarily for Question 2.

You shouldn't apply inland.

Hi guys,

what does linking your application to your online account mean? and who can do this? Sponsor or sponsored person ?

Don't know where you go that info from; outland would mean a much shorter processing time. I believe India is averaging around a year, so if you apply now, he will most likely be approved before his PGWP expires at the end of next year.

Again, those questions have nothing to do with the PR app. He is only planning to stay temporarily on the PGWP.

In regards to linking the account, do I link ( the sponsor) with my GC key or do I create one for my wife and link with her name?

Thanks

Enter app number and UCI, and don't enter all the personal info. Try putting just passport number or just something else.

Also, enter 2 for number of people in application for sponsor and PA. If you have a dependent enter 3.

Can someone please help me?

I'm just a little bit confuse with my AOR 2 email.
this is what it says: |

2. Valid police certificates from all countries where you and any family member age 18 and over have resided for 6 months or more. Police certificates which are not in English or French must be accompanied by a certified translation. For country-specific instructions, go to website...
To ensure the timely processing of your application, the required information/documents must be provided to us within THIRTY (30) days of the date of this letter.

My husband had a 2 years contract in Saudi Arabia, which he finished. I also sent his work certificate of being a good worker from the company he worked at with the whole applications.

I checked the website( CIC.GC.CA) on how to get a police clearance from Saudi Arabia if he doesn't live there anymore and this is what it says;

If you do not have current legal residence status in Saudi Arabia, you are not required to provide a Saudi Arabian police certificate. If you are asked for a police certificate from Saudi Arabia, write: “I cannot provide a police certificate for the time I spent in Saudi Arabia because certificates are only available to people who have current legal residence status.”

Should I just ignore what my AOR2 email is asking and assumed that manila office knows that I cannot provide police certificate if he doesn't live there anymore?

Quick question for the knowledgeable folk (Sorry in advance didn't search thoroughly).

Is it advisable to get a second medical done before it is potential requested by the CIC? ( I think i read previously it expires after 15 months)

The first medical was done Aug-2015. We have received the passport request and hope to send to the CIC in Sep/Oct-2016.

Thanks in advance.

Medical expires in 12 months. But if you already have your passport request without remedical request then you are ok. They probably extended your medical expiry by 6 months or so and that is the time limit you will have to land in Canada by.

Edit: why would you wait several months to submit your passport? sometimes it takes about a month for them to return with a visa depending on your VO. I can't recall if there is an actual deadline to submit passport though.

When cic requests your passport the typically give you 30 days. If you don't submit it they will refuse your app.

Do not redo the medical unless they specifically ask for it.

Give the passport now.
