You haven't applied yet?
No, there isn't anything you can do. There have been many cases like yours, and the applicants all had to wait as usual. How long it takes depends on your visa office. It also depends whether your husband is in breach of the RO or not.

my husband didnt stay the two years in order to renew his visa his pr will end by 2018 so is this going to affect the duration of the sponsoring ? what if he couldnt stay the two years and his pr ends is this going to affect the sponsering

If he applies to sponsor you before he meets the RO, he runs the risk of being refused and having his own PR revoked.

Ideally the FBI cert is a process you kick off a few months before you plan to submit the application (due to the processing times). But obviously nothing you can do now to fix that. If you've done some research, you'll know it's possible to submit your application without the FBI cert and include a letter indicating you've applied for it and will provide the cert later once it's received. So that's certainly an option that's open to you.

Yep, I wish I'd known the processing time was so long so I could've applied a long, long time ago!

Looks like submitting the app without the actual certificate is what it's going to be now. Thanks.

what do u mean that he didnt meet the RO , you mean that he didnt stay in canada the repuired duration to renew his PR ??

When did he get his PR? How long has he stayed in Canada?

People, a question regarding sponsoring.

Since the day I came here, I was a temporary worker. I became a permanent resident last month, after 2 years living here. Me and my girlfriend have been together before I came here, and we're still together, so a considerable part of our relationship has been distant. We traveled and visited each other as much as we could in this period.

My question is: is it possible that I sponsor her under the common-law? In this case, the marrying her and sponsoring her afterwards is the easiest option? If not, what is the fastest option for us to solve that? Currently, I'm a PR, and she has a visitor visa.

Have you lived together for 12 consecutive months?

Does CIC responds to application quickly this time? or it's just the same as before?

Hello folks!!

My timelines are on the left. I am trying to login to ECAS using my UCI # which I had got when I became a PR last year under FSW.

Until before I filed for my wife's PR, I could access ECAS, but ever since I cannot.

Can someone kindly guide me as to why I cannot access, and if others are able to, what details did they input differently, to be able to log-in.

Cheers!

Have you gotten AOR yet? If not, that's why. Most people cannot access ECAS until they after they have SA. I couldn't access it until we had AOR2 (from the VO abroad).

Thanks. No, I have not received my AOR1 or SA yet. I am expecting to have it this week :)
