For the Additional Dependants / Declaration form, would I send in the signed declaration even though the additional dependants part will be left blank?

Hi!
I have to ask their is a question in sponsored spouse questionnaire about first contact
*did you have any contact with your sponsor before you met in person?
my sponsor is my cousin so we know each other already.
what should i write in here? because i am confused
and my second concern is our wedding was arranged marriage
my husband was home back and i was in canada... and our wedding got final and than i went back home and got married and it was a proper reception there. please answer my question as their are some other questions too
*about our first meeting? how should i answer this ?

Thanks !

Hi everyone,

I am totally stuck right now. And your help is really appreciated. I am sponsoring my wife and I have sent all the package on April 22nd 2014. I realised 3 days ago that I have accidently sent a filled inland application where as I suppose to send an outland application. Now that I have no option but to withdraw the application and re-lodge the file again. So I did my withdrawal procedure asking the officer to return my application since it has my wife's original police clearance and my original financial documents.

I would like to know how long will they take to response to the application and in about how long will it take to get my documents safely back?

Please help. I really appreciate.

Thanks.

You have an arranged marriage with your cousin? And who is the sponsor, you or husband? Your 3 posts are incredibly confusing.

This is the wrong forum. You should be posting in skilled worker.

If your wife refuses to be examined, she will be excluded as a member of the family class. What that means is you will not be permitted to sponsor her to come to Canada should she change her mind.

She doesn't have to come: you can request her status be changed to non-immigrating. But failure (or refusal) to be examined means she is excluded from the family class (IRPR 127(d)(1) as I recall). So there will be no "later stage". She could immigrate on her own (skilled worker for example) and get credit for family in Canada, but you wouldn't be able to sponsor her.

The same applies for children who are not examined.

Thanks for the quick reply and many thanks for understanding my problem.

I also want to how i can inform CIO that my spouse is not intrested becaue as of today
she doesnt want to provide me anything in written(Affidavit) about her decision ...

talk to ur wife, settle matters with her,she may change later and regret her dicision for not been sponsored,so dnt take chances, just give her time and settle it,let her know the importanx of u all migrating and she will cooperate, better than complicating the whole process

Hello,

I am a Canadian citizen and I would like to sponsor my Korean wife to come to Canada while I continue to work in another Country (Russia). We also have a daughter together who is a Canadian Citizen. My wife and daughter would stay at my mother's house, who would support them. We also have sufficient financial resources to support ourselves.

Is it possible to sponsor my wife while I live abroad and she lives in Canada?

If that is not possible, could my mother sponsor her?

Any other ideas are appreciated.

(My main concern is that my wife can receive health care while living in Canada.)

Thank you.

Thank you to so many people for your kindness and support that I have seen in this thread. I would appreciate any help that you might be able to give.

I am Canadian and my wife is American. We have one 5 year old child, born in US. I've been a PR in the US for more than 10 years. I have a job offer in Nova Scotia (I will accept or not accept this week). If I take the offer, then I'll need to leave my job and housing situation by the end of June.

The short story is: what would you do in our situation? Re: applying inland, outland and what do we say at the border as we drive up with our U-Haul? Frankly, looking at the number of threads and discussions that I have in the past few days has me overwhelmed and wondering if this is a situation that could go sour quickly.

Thank you,
phillip
