Apply for GCMS notes, it takes very "short" time if you're lucky, 2-3 months and you will get info that is 2-3 months old , but it is something at least

In my spouse application tracker. Today, I got an update ( an eligibility status has being completed) is this for the sponsor eligibility? Should I expect a letter regarding this in my email?
I am surprised. I forgot to send a copy of my ID and they messaged me and told me to send it to them and the total process was 3 weeks. Did you try and follow up and ask why?
I have a question and I wondering if any might have experience or an idea about my situation.
My spouse is Algerian but living in Qatar on a working visa. With everything happening currently in the mideast he will probably be returning back to Algeria. My question is would his VO potentially change? Currently it is in Abu Dhabi but if he changes his residency back to his home country (Algeria), does it make a difference and would that cause delay? Just wanted to know if anyone has been in that kind of situation. Thanks!

Hello,
The VO will not change but they may ask your spouse for additional documents. For example, a new police clearance if he lived in Abu Dhabi for more than six months.
There are still two months left for February 2025 applications as per the IRCC Processing time.
If after two months, you have not heard anything, your application may be deemed as complex or they need to check more things on the application for security reasons.

Maybe you're lucky, not sure. But I applied last August got in November. Applied to CBSA and CSIS 3rd of January, still waiting.
Hi! I got married in Saudi Arabia, in the consulate of my country (Due to war in my home country). The marriage certificate issued was issued by the consulate and I got it attested in the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and submitted my application. I just saw a video from an immigration consultant stating that the marriage certificate is only acceptable if issued by a court or a ministry of justice of the host country (Saudi arabia in this case), and marriage certificates issued by consulates or embassies are not eligible. By Any chance, does anyone have a similar case?
Both were there, the wife didnot sign as it is customary for her father to sign. I know she is supposed to sign as well, but she was present and so did her family. Plenty of photos at the consulate were attached.
