I'm wondering why they didnt wait for our submission before sending us this letter .
Qualifying for the program you applied under is a separate issue...that'swhst you have now. That's what you have and they want additional information about dependents on file. It's a multi step process. You have just gotten past another step. Don't read too much into it. It's all positive moves forward.

According to these threads, that is what this email suggests. Nothing is certain until they say so.

What does it mean when the message on GCKey changes from, “ we are processing your app, you may not hear us for a while” to “ we are processing your app......make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to”

Are you at 6 months right now?

Every application is completely different. No one can answer this except to say, the estimate IRCC gives is 12 months total processing time for most cases. Transfer is very early in the process.

If you want someone to share their guesses based on experience, you should post your complete timeline :)

Hi All,

I’ve been following this thread as we’ve processed my husband’s inland PR application and now I am curious about a couple things!

Our timeline is as follows:

March 20 2019 - Application sent to Mississauga

May 2, 2019 - Application received
May 14, 2019 - Request for medical

Note: he has an updated medical in the system because he has an OWP but we had to submit his medical number in the additional file email)

July 20, 2019 - Medical results received
July 23, 2019 - Request for police certificate from his home country (Turkey)

We’ve been together for 3 years but just married in January. Is there a good chance we will be called for an interview? The only checklist of questions I could find was from 2013 and there were some very intimate questions on there- do they still conduct this way?

Thank you!!
There is no way to answer these questions because every case is different. If the evidence of your relationship and marriage is insufficient, yes, you'll be called for an interview. Questions about dependents can also lead to an interview. Background information could trigger one too. They may or may not ask personal questions. It is completely dependent upon the nature of the doubts and the officer conducting the interview.
