Applied in may. Still no re medical. What’s your visa office

I applied in August 2023. I received my second medical request in July 2025, and it was completed on the tracker in August 2025. I also had to re-do my police clearance (on their request) around the same time. In October 2025, my background verification was completed (it had been stuck for a long time), and, basically, all my steps are now completed. The next thing I should receive is the passport request. Not sure what other steps have been completed for your application. From my experience, there seems to be a long wait between when all steps are completed and receiving the passport request if you're an outland applicant.just received pre arrival

Hoping for good news. What visa office because I’m 2024 and no update

Mon conjoint de fait et moi avons présenté une demande de parrainage d'époux en 2022.
Nous sommes installés au Québec et elle est citoyenne canadienne.
IRCC a approuvé notre admissibilité et mon examen médical.
Nous avons eu des allers-retours concernant l'examen médical ; il a été approuvé à plusieurs reprises, mais la dernière fois remonte à mai 2023. Le traitement de notre demande a commencé en mars 2022. Quand pensez-vous qu'ils traiteront les données biométriques et la vérification des antécédents ? Cela fait maintenant 17 mois et nous commençons à nous inquiéter du délai.

- Demande reçue en mars 2022
- Invitation à l'examen médical de mai 2022
- Invitation de mai 2022 à envoyer des données biométriques
- Invitation aux services de pré-arrivée - Mai 2022
- Données biométriques et examen médical reçus en juin 2022
- Juillet 2022 CSQ reçu
- Examen médical de janvier 2023 terminé
- Examen médical de mai 2023 mis à jour et finalisé

I got remedical done and it's showing as approved in the portal. Bgc is still in progress. Does anyone knows long will it take now?Can we expect faster approval after remedicals?

Yes. Maybe by next month you will be done. When did you apply

I already have the visitors visa. I live in the US.

Couple of times? You mean after medical request done? Or even way before that? I think you only receive pre arrival services once your eligibility is approved.

So the second one you received after police clearance done? My spouse doesn’t have any travel history! Do you have lot of travel history?

I had to do my second round of medicals and police clearance in 2025 since the first ones expired. Yes, I travel frequently between US and Canada.
