Hey Guys, is it wise to send an email to LVO to ask about application status or is it too early for that? I sent my spouse application in December 2016.

Its a high time to make an inquiry, I just did too.

They are issuing pprs to 2017 applicants so you can enquire from them via email.. no worries.

You dont need caramel popcorns
they serve you on the flight
and if you are as lucky as I am, and have an empty flight, you will have plenty of popcorns

Hey everyone need some advice. On my husbands emails and letters from IRCC, his address is plot # XXXX, which is correct. But on the ECAS site it says P.O. XXXX. (XXXX are the same).

Would they be at any point in time sending him letters via post?
Is it a huge deal for us to get them to fix it? If so what is the procedure?

Mine used to say "We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you." but it changed to "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you." today. None of the other statuses changed.

Please post your application status from your myCIC account. Am curious to see if this means anything at all or not... Thanks!

Hey I saved a screen shot on May 19 and it used to say "We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you."

I never paid attention to it so don't know when it changed but now its:
"We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you."

Not sure but it sounds good

Mine says the same thing:
We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

I'm not sure when it changed. What's weird is that on ECAS mine still says "Application Received".

Hey, do you need police reports from any city you have spent more than six months in or just from the city that's stated on your ID card? On the website, it only mentions the country.
Not sure how to attach a picture of it. Any new applicants, please let me know as guidelines are always changing.

I had somewhat similar problem with my address too. As CIC forms don't really incorporate Pakistani addresses well. I missed some crucial part of my address. At first, I thought they aren't going to send me anything by mail. But later on I realized it might delay the processing of my case if they find out any inconsistency in my address on different documents like CNIC, PCC etc and my application.
So, I just created a case specific enquiry to LVO and mentioned my concern and also mentioned old and new address. In a week my address was updated on ECAS.
