Thanks AsadA. I've tried everything, even wrote an email explaining their concerns, gave a timeline of our relationship, almost everything under the sun. CIC responded that while they understand everything, we can't be removed or waived from the interview as the officer feels that an interview is required.

It's really useless to try to get yourself off the interview list as this will make them more curious as to why you're pushing so hard.

I'd be F'd up pissed with that response. "They understand everything but think an interview is warranted"??, based on whats grounds??...They just want to interview that's it, and have no reason...

If its in the same city it doesn't PCC doesn't really matter. However, you have to notify CIC of the change in address if you put the old one on the forms

the address used in the application is the new address so thats fine.

guys my wife just changed her house (this was before i applied so in the application its the new address)
my question is that when applying for a police certificate would she need it for only the current address or the previous address as well?

She needs the police report where ever she lived usually consider after the age of 18. In every City there is a police main office who issues the Police reports so its better go there directly ask their requirement. Usually their requirement is you need your local police station clearance which they write on simple paper that there is no any charge and on behalf of that Main police office of city issue the report. Its not that difficult.

Hi, I am really confused. As per your facebook comments you had told us to update the spreadsheet: that you are a canadian citizen who sponsored his wife.See 2016 spreadsheet row 61.

I am also shocked to see my status in your spreadsheet!!!
I didn't hear anything from them after sponsorship approval!!!

under application assignment its says assigned to gs9205 ia that what you were referring to?

If you have applied for a spouse visa. She should not live in Pakistan, it can result in a refusal of the visa. Such cases have been refused previously. Check the spreadsheet 2015.

To Maintain the PR status, one needs to be physically present in Canada for 730 days in 5 years

The new citizenship rules for the duration of physical presence in Canada have not been approved yet.
Currently, You must have been physically present in Canada as a permanent resident for at least 1,460 days during the six years immediately before the date of your application.

Could someone please confirm me that how long my wife can stay in Pakistan.
She is Canadian PR and came to Pakistan on 1st September 2016.

Also what the new new requirement of stay in Canada for citizenship?

New to this forum. I have sponsored my husband for PR. We got SA in October 2016 but the notes say that his file is held for London Pilot project. Does anyone know what this means. Also, can anyone tell me if I can travel outside of Canada while the application is processed? I am a PR.

Read the forum
There are couple of other applicants who read the same thing in their notes "file is held for London Pilot project".

A PR can travel outside of Canada while they have applied for a spouse visa but they should mainly live in Canada. In my opinion, they should not stay outside of the Canada for long time. (In my opinion going to Pakistan for 4/5 weeks should be OK)

Yes Pakistani living in Saudi. Applied September 1st, AOR on 7th September, SA - 17th October.
