If you have applied for a spouse visa. She should not live in Pakistan, it can result in a refusal of the visa. Such cases have been refused previously. Check the spreadsheet 2015.

To Maintain the PR status, one needs to be physically present in Canada for 730 days in 5 years

If you have been a permanent resident for five (5) years or more

you must show that you will be able to meet the minimum of 730 days of physical presence in Canada within five (5) years of the date you became a permanent resident.

The new citizenship rules for the duration of physical presence in Canada have not been approved yet.
Currently, You must have been physically present in Canada as a permanent resident for at least 1,460 days during the six years immediately before the date of your application.

I had requested LVO to process my wife's application on priority because she is expecting but they have emailed me today which is pasted as below.
I need experts' advice that should I contact the local MP or it would be useless to do so? Please follow my time line for further information.

Could be off base, but my theory in general for the slowness that started to be occurring at various VOs even before the holidays is that there might be training going on for how to process the new application kit.

Maybe. However we are hearing nothing from any applicants at all. I think they are taking holidays, seriously.
