this is normal; LVO does not always acknowledge receipt. i also sent docs voluntarily and even though my gcms notes show the docs being added to my file, they did not reply back even though i specifically asked them to do so.

after a doc request, they usually take 30 days minimum or 60 days maximum. so yeah, end of this month.

there's no reason for you to be depressed. i'm certain you will be getting PPR soon.

Yes I know and I hope so...I honestly pray for everyone on the forum I hope all of you are united with your loved ones very very soon insha Allah.

Also I emailed them today for my notes I told them it has been over 2 months and did not get them yet..going to wait for there reply and see what's up I wonder if anyone waited more than 2 months for notes ?

And when can i see link it online to see what's going on with my file...

You mean after submitting your application?

Ecas will say they received your application on XXXXX date. This is the date the courier or canada post delivered the application. But, Your assessment starts a day before from the day they send you acknowledgement email.
You should be able to link your application once you have ECAS access. It is usually 2-3 days after Sponsor Approval.

Once they send you acknowledgement of receipt email, you can try linking then but I highly doubt it will work.

No, My sponsor only receive an email from Case Processing Centre Mississauga , mentioning that "You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in London for further processing.".

ECAS Status is showing "In Process" with below detail.

Sponsorship Application Status
1. We received your application to sponsor XXXXXXX on May 20, 2016.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on June 9, 2016.
3. We started processing your application on June 8, 2016.

Permanent Residence Application Status
1. We received XXXXXXX application for permanent residence on May 20, 2016.
2. We started processing XXXXXXXX application on August 8, 2016.

let me know, whats the next step and when to expect, can i link my paper application for spousal visa to online account for updates.

i am not sure about the AOR2, does this AOR2 is supposed to mailed by Landon visa office? and mail to applicant or the sponsor person?

AOR2 is mailed to Principle applicant from London VO. Usually they ask for more OR updated documents OR sometime if all documents are provided nothing asked.

We are in a same boat in my case
1) email to LVO to Check where is my file they said in Background checks
2) after three months contacted with mp same answer background checks one thing edit that I have passed my eligibility according to mp
3) after one month send them case specific inquiry and they just said we have froward your query to responsible office
4) again contacted to mp and she said may be by the end of this month they gonna finalise your file and my medical going expire in Oct 2016
And now she is waiting till this month if not she will contact to prime minister and she gonna explain what cic is playing with her life.
what u have done with your case sofar and also if u have or anybody have any idea how to tackle cic pls let us know

the VO usually takes around 40-50 days after the first doc request before they send out PPRs. currently it has been just over 30 days for the november group, so i'm guessing they've still got around 2 more weeks to go. with that said, no updates on my end either because i'm also not expecting any communication until 2 weeks from now.
