A good news CIC application processing time has been reduced to 13 months from 17 months

A good news CIC application processing time has been reduced to 13 months from 17 months

It is at 25 months now for Pakistan, In June it was 26 months. So its gone down by a month.

25 months is if u Apply from Pakistan but if u apply from Canada then it would take 13 months in total

And most of applicants apply from Canada through their sponsors. And 2ndly if u see all the questions in search box of Application Processing time are from the perspective of Sponsor and Not from the applicants point of view.

Even though u send application in Canada the processing depend on where the applicant is from i.e PAKISTAN. The questions are for the applicant not the sponsor cause the sponsor is approved in approx 2 months then the applicant's portion is being processed.

What are you applying for? FAMILY SPONSORSHIP
Who are you sponsoring? SPOUSE OUTSIDE CANADA
Where are you applying from? PAKISTAN

hey settle down guys.

check the spreadsheet in my sig for the actual processing time at london VO. it's 8-10 months for most apps. the processing times on the CIC homepage are inaccurate.

hahah, Actually Ahmad is right in one way, it suppose to be like he said ''where are you applying from'' mean country of residence of PA at the time of application (according to CIC explanation ''why processing time information change'') BUT they are not dealing the application according to this rule, so they are dealing Pakistani applicant according to Nationality of PA.
confusing but thats how they are working lol.
i am Pakistani applicant but Country of residence is USA but my application was forward to LVO instead of ottawa and it is taking the same time like those who apply from Pakistan (usually USA application are processed at ottawa which is one of the fastest VO)
So yea, you both are right lol

good to see progress but they need to work faster. the early november applicants are already at the 8.2 month mark, and ideally they should be getting DM by the 8.5-8.7 month mark...

stats for october:
- avg 8.2 months
- min 8.0 months
- max 8.7 months

Agreed. Technically, we are almost a month behind. CIC needs to start clearing out nov and dec together in order to make up for the lost time.

No proof of communication with app was sent. I sent lots of photos about 50ish but the are requesting for more pics from our outings together and rukhsati
