Ok I just checked online using the receipt number I sent. There are two categories:
Sponsorship Application Status:
1.We received your application to sponsor.......on August 6, 2015.
2.We started processing your application on September 4, 2015.


Permanent Residence Application Status:
1.We received......'s application for permanent residence on August 6, 2015.
2.Medical results have been received.

Could anyone tell me if this is normal. I called in and they told me that they don't always send the acknowledgment letter but I should receive some sort of letter by the second week of November. Please let me know if all this is normal. I was really concerned about not receiving any letter. Thank You,

Its normal. Insha Allah you will get SA soon then you can hope for 8 months for PPR.

My wife's case in currently in process in ECAS.
Remedical- Completed August 10, 2015
Additional Photos requested of Rukhsati + Renewed Passport copy : sent August 9, 2014.
Medical results have been received.

I received my original birth certificate along with my wife's birth certificate today in the mail.

Its been 2 months+ since new remedical. How much longer do you think it will be for PPR1 inshallah. I ordered notes early last week, MP was supposed to provide update by lost his seat and no call being answered.


Please help.

You should try sending a case specific inquiry. It seems everything is wrapped up in your case already.

Thank you maria for suggestion. My wife sent email last week to lvo and they said all documents were received and with visa officer for review.

Thats a very generic reply, thats what they tell almost everyone "Your case is awaiting officer review" :-[

In my opinion one can't say anything even close to a near guess. The processing times shown on cic website are just an indication of the 80% of the past cases, so I don't think they can speak for the present/future applications.
Then if you see on the forum, the 2014 applicants are yet to get visas. But on the other hand some friends has got visa even they applied in Feb/March 2015. This is not to disappoint you, but to give you a clear picture as per my own understanding (others may comment on this). So its like apply and live your normal life while praying for fast processing of your case.

The good news is that more recently the Landon Visa Office is processing applications very fast as you can see from different profiles/signatures/spreadsheets so its the best time to apply and hope for the best.

if your documents are complete and you provide enough evidence that your relationship is genuine and pay all the fees upfront, then in my view 7-8 months..because now a days they are processing very fast.....

include all ur pictures, emails, skype, combined bank account statements

Need help. I just got PPR but im already in Canada on visitor visa. PPR is only valid if im in Pakistan. how can I inform London office that im in Canada as in ppr lette there is no email were I can contact in case im not in Pakistan.

Maybe u can go to Niagara US border then re enter do do ur immigration there. .
