Remedical completed: August 11, 2015

ECAS: in process
Medical results have been received.

Yesterday, I got originals back. Is this a positive sign?

Its been 2+ months since remedical was completed. No DM or PPR yet..

Has anybody got back passport from Islamabad via KHI VFS. Its now 15 days I submitted my passport at KHI VFS.

Not yet. My husband submitted on 15th October

@ mz_Canada572 If you sent the letter last week, then wait a few weeks for CSE. But getting your originals back is a very good sign and it shouldn't take too long now In Sha Allah. And getting your notes will help you decide your next step.

Its nothing to stress about. I am sure they will get to your file soon!!!
My medical was expiring in July and I thought they would ask for re-med at least by the end of July but they didn't.
They first worked on a few other things, and requested additional documents. Then they finally requested the re-med in oct, so that was 3 months after expiry.

And you only applied in Feb!! it hasn't been too long for your case. 2014 cases have been waiting for a year, but every case is different.
Lets hope for the best!

I dont know how to calculate how many days for background check. His application is in process status since July and we were asked to submit schedule A form in September. Its like 2-3 months if that is the case. I ordered case inquiry through my Mp office (just to mention our MP was also former canada immigration minister). I received inquiry within two days stating they are doing background checks.

On Oct 13 they requested Urdu Nikah Nama with English translation and in bold they wrote Marriage Certificate. I applied only with marriage certificate. So I sent them and it has been received in London VO. Does anybody know how long will it take now.

Email Confirmation received on Sat July 4th 2015

CIC Replied:
Received your application to sponsoR on May 28, 2015.
started processing your application on July 3, 2015.
We sent you correspondence on July 27, 2015 about the decision on your application.
We received APPLICANT'S application for permanent residence on May 28, 2015.
We started processing application on August 6, 2015.
Aug 6th 2015 - case forwarded to London

We had already submitted the Medical and PR Fee at the time of submission of our application in May 2015.

Will wait for some info
