I haven't received anything either. My file was transferred on 30th July as well

FYI.. Visa Application Centres in Pakistan

The VACs are operated by VFS Global and located at:

Islamabad: 14-B, Sadiq Plaza, G-9 Markaz
Karachi: 43/1/D, Razi Road, Block-6, P.E.C.H.S
Lahore: 20/20 A, Ex American Centre Building, Opp Ganga Ram Hospital, Queens Road

This is helpful if you choose to use the VACs.
Although if you plan to correspond to Islamabad, I think its just better to send your passport directly to CHC Islamabad.

Its not a choose and pick scenario.. Chc london directs u in ppr email to submit passport via vac now a days.. Vac is more reliable coz i see most candidates get back their passport within ten days.. You can not just directly send your passport to chc isb.

If somebody could forward me an email that a sponsor receives when there is a notice that there case file is being opened would appreciate.

Need to ask u something.. after submission of passport how long will it take to show the status online? I submitted mine today and for now it shows nothing.

But other then Gerry's Visa drop box (whom mercy24 provided addresses of) , other companies like TCS, tiger and I think also Pakistan Post offer passport sending facilities to CHC Islamabad, but I would definitely say Gerry's service is more reliable and they treat the passports as passports not just ordinary mail.

Yes all other companies do that but why risk your passport when chc london clearly mentions it in ppr email to deliver it via vac... I am sure no one would want to risk their immigration process when you are almost about to get over with such a huge timeline.. People usually used to send it via tcs since january just because chc asked them to... Now they dont.. And i will never suggest anyone to not follow their directions and end up suffering at the end of the process.

They have updated it after i posted this lol... So same day but around 5pm they sent a message that it's transfered to chc isb.

Why do they require english test ? Your application is for family sponsorship, not skilled one

Its not a requirement.

It was jst a yes or no answer question.
