Aoa can you please tell me how much months it takea for medical request? We have received our approval in Nov and file was transferred to LVO its been four months. Waiting for medical :'D. How much time did it take for your medical? And beat of luck seems like youre ready to go

Wasalams, couldn't understand if you asked the question with anyone specifically or with everyone, please use QUOTE if you want to ask something with a specific member.

As far as medical request is concern, it is requested when its nearing expiry, provided you did the first medical a month or two before case submission, so speaking in months around 9 to 10 months as the current trend is going.

Chances of visit visa are next to none if spouse application is in progress, you can apply if you have a really strong case and you have a very concrete reason of him/her of returning back to Pakistan (I guess) in some months.

If one visa is in process then u will not apply 2nd one...
If u live in Canada as permanent residency then u sponser ur spouse as a PR not apply visit visa.

Wrong
TRV and PR; both are entirely different processes and independent of each other. They refuse TRV due to strong reasons and but they DO give you PR if you are eligible.
You can apply for TRV while spouse sponsorship is in process.

I highly doubt you will be separated for 29 months if you have your documentation in proper order.
Please read the posts as this has been asked several times.
And if you could share your timeline that would be helpful.

AOA ... i am very upset ..i am a aug 2013 applicant ..finally i hear from them an interview call on 17 march ... they asked me to fill 3 forms and medical for me and my dependents. even they asked me to bring passports all of them ....i did 3 mail to them 1 for the confirmation of attending interview ..and other 2 for medical request letter ...no reply from them yet today is 12 and i am still waiting for medical letter ...WHEN I MAILED THEM FROM LAST NIGHT MY MAIL COMES BACK TO ME (mail not delivered) I DON'T KNOW WHY ITS HAPPENING PLEASE HELP ME

Just to advise everyone in advance.
A couple of my friends went to see there husbands a few times during their sponsorship and apparently going so much can also cause red flags!
So make sure whoever is going back to visit you are not going back numerous amount of times. These ridiculous people have a problem if you go and you dont go!

I just came to know this information now. Just thought id share. It may be beneficial for some!

In shaa Allah it won't. Just keep praying. Thats the only thing that can defeat this people.
I know many cases who have stayed their spouses and not at all had a problem. In shaa Allah your case will be the same.
just wanted to inform anyone who didnt know about this in advance. As i just found out from a friend of mine.
