I have been reading post on this and other forums on a daily basis and I try to help. What I have seen is that many people are not following the instruction on the checklist and not submitting fully completed application. I can understand that waiting pain you all are going through. I too had to go through this waiting. If you or if you know someone who is going to sponsor their spouse and needs help with the application inbox me. I live in Toronto and I can help you fill the application and help you what you will need to send with your application. My wife’s file was completed within 7 months and I made sure I cover everything in my application so that officer don’t find any errors, mistakes or question our marriage. Since furniture is more expensive in Canada. I was thinking about the option of purchasing it in Karachi and then having it shipped to Toronto. Is there such a way? Any input on the matter will be appreciated. Give specifics if you do know.

hi anyone please write on sapreate sheet that my file is transfer from london office to abu dhabi uae for an interview recommended from officer and GCMS also showing that on 4th dec 2015 my file transfer from london to abu dhabi and wating for interview date. my medical will exipre on 2nd april 2016. any one know about interview that in year how many times interview held from cic?

Send an urgent inquiry email and mention LJF in the subject line also and also write URGENT in the subject line and in body. Also in body write Dear LJF!. My officer was LJF too don't worry. He doesn't answer emails he send ppr directly. So Urgent email right away

Can you tell me what selection to make when sending inquiry? And where do I write urgent ? As the case inquiry I sent I wrote urgent in body , couldn't find subject line.
If possible can you send me screenshot., ?

AoA Everyone,

Can anyone please tell me if they have received their original Documents back from CIC? We received the PPR on January 08,2016 and received COPR on January 15th, 2016 but still no original documents.

Any 2015 applicant with a similar situation and if anyone was able to retrieve them back successfully after following a specific procedure?

Any input will be appreciated.

NXR is a visa officer who reads the email first to see what you are asking and he then looks at the status of the file. If it says they haven't started then he will write. Waiting for officer review. If the officer is reviewing the file. He won't answer instead he will forward that email to appropriate officer

I got this email when I notified them about my re medical almost a month back father that no response.

Please be advised that your application is currently awaiting officer review, we will be in touch if any additional information is required.

Now you wait for sponsor approval (which should take 1-2 weeks), and once you're approved as a sponsor, your file will be then forwarded to London for further processing.

My wife received an email to submit her passport and two passport sized pictures as per the spec. It came with an accompanying letter. eCAS was not changed prior to us receiving the email. I did however send in a Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) on Wednesday through my wife's email. Although they did not directly reply to our CSE the PPR came the following morning signed by Immigration Officer REO.

I'm hoping somebody on this forum can answer a question I have.

Can my wife courier her passport and pictures to one of the three VFS offices who will then send it on to the Canadian High Commission in Islamabad? Or does she need to drop off the documents in person at one of the three VFS offices?

Hi,

we sent the CSE via email to LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca.

The email was marked as URGENT in the subject line and the body of the email was as follows:

"Hello,

Our eCAS has been showing Decision Made since mid to late December but we have not received any further correspondence. Could you please clarify the status of our application? Is the decision a positive one? If so, when should we expect a Passport Request?

Any information you are able to provide would be greatly appreciated."

Our application was received in Mississauga on July 17, 2015. I'm a Canadian citizen applying to sponsor my wife for permanent residence in Canada.
