Dear Friends,
I'm really frustrated, my ECAS status got changed to DM on 26-Oct-15.
Same day letter came from LVO to submit my RPRF which i did the very next day.

Now it's well over 1 month no PPR no correspondence.
My immigration lawyer says to wait couple of weeks.

But the trend shows in timeline for 2015 applicants says otherwise.

Please help me out for what should I can do?

I got a medical request for my wife in Lahore. How do we schedule the medical appointment? We tried calling the numbers listed on the cic website at least 5 times , but no one answer. Please advise? How do we schedule the medical appointment?

I think they only respond via email now....CANMEDPK@iom.int (this is the one I have used for an upfront and a re-med and both were successful)..please also make sure this is the correct email address for them just in case!

They will ask you which medical centre you would like to go to and you will indicate Lahore....they will ask you other questions like passport info, 2 numbers in Pakistan, etc. Ask them what information you will need to give them so that they can book you an appointment.

May ALLAH also ease up the process for everyone and reunite them with their significant other. , they are submitting passports tomorrow so that it could be out this week, hope to get it before Christmas holidays. INSHA ALLAH.

Sorry for creating confusion. I mean I submitted passport in a day just to avoid some holidays coming in this week (Chehlum and LB elections in Karachi) . it will take around 2 to 4 weeks .

Try to land in the city where you will be staying. As you may know if you have a local connection e.g. you land in Montreal and then you have a local flight to Ottawa. Your immigration will be done in Montreal also you have to take your luggage out from one carousal and take it to another.

For the first timer I would recommend to land directly in the city where you will be staying just to avoid this one step.

Does anyone know about the Saskatchewan nominee program.? Like I have heard that if you stay in Sask for 1 year as a PR you can sponsor anyone of your family member regardless of his age. Can anyone please confirm me that, or give me a source of this.??

HFHH13 told me that I should email to CANMEDPK@iom.int , but he also asked me to confirm if this email address is still in use. Could anyone help? Is Emailing the only way to schedule the Medical Appointment? Do they randomly allot any time via email appointments? or can we ask for a specific day in a week?

I hope you all get your visas soon. I am a new member of this site and for some reason, after making a few posts, this forum wasnt letting me post any replies.

Alhamdulillah, I am blessed with the following timeline:

1. Sponsoring: Wife
2. Application Recv'd Missisauga: June 4, 2015
3. Medical: Upfront
4. Transferred to london visa office: October 11th, 2015
5. Passport Request: November 4th 2015
6. Passport Sent: November 6th 2015
7. Passport recv'd: November 19th, 2015
8. Landed in Canada: November 28th, 2015

I pray you all get your visas soon and may this painful wait gets easy for you all
