ASALAM ALAIKUM EVERYONE,

I AM NEW IN THIS FORUM. I SENT MY APPLICATION TODAY. I AM THE SPONSOR (LIVING IN CANADA) AND MY WIFE IS IN PAKISTAN.
WHEN WILL I COME TO KNOW MY APPLICATION/FILE NUMBER AND WHAT WILL BE THE NEXT STEP.
I DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA AT ALL.

If your application is complete, error free and straight forward then this would be your initial time line for stage 1:

You will get first acknowledgement when CIC receive your application ( if you send it on express mail then you should hear back withn 48 hours).
After 2 months you will get another email stating that you are approve (inshaAllah). This email is in PDF format and will state that your are approved and your file is transferred to London Visa Office. This letter will have your File number and your client id nubmer (I don't remember the name). You can login with the file number to view your wife's status and the other number to view both your file status and your wife.

Stage 2 is a multiple stage process:

1) If your application is complete or not
2) Assess your file/case to see if it's genuine or not
3) Background check
4) Interview (yes/no/maybe)
5) remed (yes/no/maybe)
6) Photo copy of Wife's PP (if not sent with the application/yes/no/maybe)
7) PPR
8) COPR
10) Welcome to Canada

In a nutshell In my case, stage one was 62 days, and In process from May 28th/15 to set. 16th, Decision Made Sep. 18, PPR request Oct. 1. and soon inshaAllah COPR within the next 2 weeks or so.

Finally got PPR request today!
I submitted the passport the same day in Islamabad. Gerry's is walking distance from my house.
I will be in Northern Areas of Pakistan for 3 weeks with no Internet.

send a case specific enquiry to LVO... they reply pretty quickly. I got my reply in two days. Although they just told me my application is waiting to be reviewed by a visa officer. I've been in process since 24th August. Don't know what's going on

assalam .... i am oct 13 applicant...first they confirmed about relationship genuine..today i got remdical request .. my ecas showed " in process" on 28-09-2015 ... i wonder why i did not get re-police clearance certificate or any additional documents request...will i get that in next turn Huh
i m from Lahore and i had my upfront medical without appointment.... where to send email for appointment....what should i expect next

Need help of spousal case

Hi,
I need help regarding my case my husband case showing online still application received but I got email in june regarding re-medical and after 10 days I got another email of PPRF. my husband done is re-medical and submit his fee in june after that nothing news . I send email enquiry to LVO but not reply its almost more than one and half month to send them email but not got any reply from them I am so worried about my husband case I submitt application September 2014 got email in june for re-medical and pprf and both done in june .
any senior member can help me. why they are taking so long .

Hi everyone i am new member of this forum i am feb2014 applicant

my ecas shows in process from 27th august 2015

and they add that they start processing on my file since march 2014

and i just want to know what does mean when your file status shows in process

my medical was also expire since nov 2014

they ask me some additional documents in feb 2015


but they dont ask me updated medical

i am really tensed now please if any one have any information about please share me

i email LVO in July and they reply me that they are waiting for background verification results and after that in august they change ecas status of my file in process now again more than 2 months are passed and they dont even ask about my updated mmedical

i just only want to know why and when visa office change status
