Hey guys I have a question. I never received an email saying my file was transferred to London visa office. However. When they asked for additional docs including police clearance etc, it came from ldnimmigration email, should I ASSUME it's at LVO now? I hope it isn't lol

Has anyone recently contacted LVO via email directly on status of application? How long did they take to reply back?

My representative emailed them directly on Dec 12th 2021. No reply yet. Should my rep do a IRCC webform? Please advise.

LVO wont reply to emails, they are painful. I just emailed my MP and he gave me the update same day.

With the grace of GOD 24 months, long awaiting is finished. Just wanted to share this good news with you as this forum has been a source of inspiration and moral support for me. After adr it took 3 months to one year. If you don’t have red flag then 3 months maximum . Good luck

I got an update after 6 month ..i have received pre-arrival letter on 12-january-2022 . do anyone know it means they again start processing my file??? is it a good sign for my file? and still my biometric pending still did not get letter for biometeric?

I would suggest you email the Visa Office, attach the confirmation letter ircc sent you and request a reconsideration of the refusal based on the fact that its an ircc error.
If the request is denied, then I guess your options are as you said:
1. Reapply (and spend another $500)
2. Appeal for free
Appeal would probably take a little longer than reapplying seeing as many here wait over a year in appeal process. You cannot "withdraw" since a decision has already been made, but it doesn't matter now anyways. You need to request a reconsideration, seeing that you have fulfilled all that was required of you on time.

I was thinking the same. I don't know if they would do reconsider. Better option is to reapply. The error is on the immigration side since they didn't update file. Is there a way to get my entire file back, so I can see if the document of Ontario service was there or not?

How long does it take to receive passport back from LVO? I have submitted from Sweden and it's almost 7 working days I have not heard from IRCC.

Have you ever given biometrics to Canada? Strange they haven't asked for it yet.

Pre-arrival is a good sign, means you passed the eligibility criteria.

No, but you can apply for GCMS copy of your Original Application, or if you sent the document during processing, you can just request the Officer's Notes and it would be indicated if they have received such a document.
