Is there any restriction that we cannot send inquiry to CIC before 3 years. Or we can send it any time ?

Like i submitted after 3.5 months of my re-medical. So is there any problem ?

No, there isn't any restriction/problem. But its a good idea to wait at least 11 months, from the date you submitted your application, before you can send any inquiry.

Hello everyone,
So my husband applied for trv online and today he recieved an email saying ur status has updated please check ur mycic. When we checked mycic there was no change. Has this happened to any one else. i'm confused

Its been more than a month when status changed to inprocess and all the checks were successfully completed, around a month of sending the form they requested and remedical was done on June 3rd 2015. They know its not a normal case but the worthless delay with no apparent reason is so frustrating.

On top my original documents according to them by mistake were sent by local post without any tracking, and its been a month we haven't received them either, I checked in my local post office , our area post master, post office head office and they all say they haven't received any package with this information. Please pray for us as I have only 1.2 months in which my wife can fly, other wise I will have to wait for the baby to be born and added to application.

I also pretty much same time frame as you.
when did you received a re-medical request? I haven't receive mine/

I am little confuse about my status on application still its showing application received never change to in process since i applied from Sept 2014 is it normal and yes
i have asked for re medical and other document what is next step any help..

Submitted mine on June 11th, they told us to expect by July 1st, no response yet.

Did you get landing papers (COPR) with your passport?

Medical about to expire in 1 week and I haven’t received re-medical request. File transfer to LVO in Oct 2014.
Online status shows “application received”. No correspondence started yet.
How do they send a remedial request by email or mail?

Anyone about the same time frame?

Hello Everyone,

I have been a silent reader at this forum for months now. It goes without saying that this forum and its members are extremely helpful and encouraging. I cannot appreciate the members enough. Having said that, I am in a dilemma. I hope that you can help me. Please see below for my timeline.

Case: Applied for wife
Applied: Late June 2014
File Transfer: Late August 2014
Office: London
Up Front Medical: January end 2014
Medical Request: Not Yet

They say that no news is good news but you can see where my dilemma is. It has been more than 10 months since my file was transferred to London and no re-medical request yet even though my up front medical expired in late January, 2014. Should I be worried?

I sent a case specific inquiry in the beginning of May. They replied saying that my file is in queue still and pending review by an officer. Is it possible that they would be doing background checks before re-medical and that is why it is taking time?

Do they let us know if they put our file in an interview queue?

I would really appreciate if the senior members can help me out. Thanks a lot. Much appreciated.
