or, he has to pay landing fee together $450?

its better to pay off the complete fee all at once, by that i mean the $550 processing fee + $450 landing fee.

Asalam-o-Alaikum,

I am applying for my Wife who is in Karachi, Pakistan. March end my Wife did her re-medical and on April 23, 2015 CIC updated status of our application 'Permanent Residence Application Status' to 'Decision Made' and stated that they will contact my Wife with the decision.

Since then we (my Wife or myself) haven't received any email or mail with regards to the decision. After reading about other cases, it seems that once your application goes to 'decision made', you get a mail via Post office within 2 weeks.

- Is this delay normal? By what time should I expect to hear from CIC?
- Do they send via regular Pakistan Post or do they send via courier such as DHL/FedEx?
- If the decision should have been received by now, what should we do?

Our Timeline:

Upfront medical: mid December, 2013
Applied: January end, 2014
Sponsor approval and file sent to London directly: mid March, 2014
Request for additional documents: beginning of January, 2015
Request for re-medical: mid March, 2015
Re-medical done: end March, 2015
Status changed to decision made: April 23, 2015

I think you should sit tight for now, it varies with each case. A few files here took around a month before they received PPR after DM. But youre very close!

I emailed CIC last Thursday (exactly 2 weeks after 'Decision Made') informing that we haven't heard anything from CIC. I guess I don't have any other option other than sitting tight.

When was your ecas status changed to "in process"?

After my Wife performed her 're-medical' so around 10 April, 2015 -- this would be my guess.
But for sure, I can confirm that the status was changed to 'in process' before going to 'decision made'.

I want know the meaning of this message

I applied in July (qualified for sponsored in oct)
In Sept application received just today I noticed still it says application but an addition of new line medical has been received which I submitted upfront.

My question is approximately how much more time it takes if it says ur medical has been received ?

My decision made was on 27th Feb 2015 and PPR Email was received on 9th April 2015..So it is normal don't worry.....

My decision made was on 27th Feb 2015 and PPR Email was received on 9th April 2015..So it is normal don't worry.....

no its not at 29 months online processing time changed to 29 months bcz the applications that have been completed recentley have taken on abg 29 months since they were stuck in islamabad. the time now is still 11-12 months it only says the avg time of 29 months of the applications tgt have recebtley been completeted. hope this makes sense

Mine never changed to in process it's says DM no both sides on PR n sponsor application
