I believe you are only required to submit one PCC from a Pak city you lived in, usually birth city. Immediately after marriage my wife and I shifted from Karachi to Islamabad. I only submitted my wife's PCC from Karachi and it turned out fine. Alhamdulillah.

is mycic different from cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp ?????

and what is GCMS and how to get them ???

Yes Mycic is different. You can create your account from this link and link your application with it (if you dont have a lawyer) and be able to see step by step status

Start processing 18 may
Sponsor approval & file transfered :1 June letter received
Medical results have been received.

I did upfront medical on may 2015, after 3 months they have some issue in my medical so they asked additional sputum test which I did under panel physician.the date of submission of additional test is 20 Dec 2015.

Hey Guys,

I applied for my spouse sponsorship this Month and still have not gotten Sponsorship approval yet. Yesterday on my spouse myCIC, her eligibility went from "Not Started" to "In Progress". Is that a normal change of status at this step?

no i haven't. i was confused about pcc . it took me 3 weeks to get pcc from her birthplace city. i guess i don't have to get pcc from current city she just moved 2 months ago

No I didn't receive any remedical request and no additional document request. My wife is canadian pr holder .

No this is not normal..Background check being started is towards the end of the application process. mycic should be updated.

My spouse was added in my PR application as a non-accompanying dependent, and she had her background and security checks done a few months ago as requirement for my PR. I don't know if this weird status has anything to do with that.

May this is it.I heard of a similar case and the spouse got her PR pretty quick.
