So nothing comes on your ECAS that they have sent a request or something...

Yes as I said before ECAS will show that they have sent you correspondence on XXXXXX date. It won't show any message or anything but many members on this forum reported an additional line added for correspondence.

check the expiry date on your COPR. it's usually the same as your medical expiry date, unless you did a reassessment in which case it remains valid for an additional 12 months.

that's true, but since we're dealing with LVO here, i honestly would not rely on ECAS too much.

ra03ra, if you think you've missed any correspondence from the visa office, you can follow up with your MP and they can find out for you. otherwise, the best thing to do is link your account to MyCIC and make sure you've got email notifications enabled. if you can't link to MyCIC, then keep a close eye on your email and you'll be fine.

Do you know why it's been so long for them to clear out your application? I get the other user was in the interview queue, are you requested for an interview too? Have you requested notes/talked to MP?

his wife went to the MP on june 24th and was told that his background/security checks are completed, and that they're still working on eligibility.

so they finally published some numbers for Q2 2016. these are PR admissions for pakistani applicants by recent quarters (source):

Q1 2015: 2,226
Q2 2015: 3,105
Q3 2015: 3,368
Q4 2015: 2,631

Q1 2016: 2,837
Q2 2016: 3,651

does Q1 begin in January? i thought they'd be going by the govt fiscal year which starts April 1st of each year, but that can't be right, because then Q2 would include data for September which they don't have yet.

oh and i'm at the 9 month mark now... with zero progress on my file. i was looking at the NDVO thread just now and i'm pretty sure that VO processes the same volume of apps as LVO, yet they're currently sending out PPRs to March/April 2016 applicants. same with Singapore, they've gotten around to reviewing February 2016 applicants. what the **** LVO? what in gods name happened to those people after June? feel like ripping my hair out.

I feel like these stats don't mean anything Flx. All I know is that LVO is not processing anything from what I can see. Sure, we hear one or two success stories but is that enough? Thanks FLx and COPR. I appreciate your response, I can't link mycic since I have a lawyer and I fear since my lawyer is handling many cases he might miss email for me, so I was just inquiring on a back up, hopefully nothing gets missed. ;D

That's it!...I have decided to send LVO a "gift" cheque of $1,000 for there great work on applications......ofcourse displaying my UCI and application number on the back....I am sure this will help... ;D ;D

I'm in the exact same situation right now too. Every morning I wake up, thinking we might be able to crack the LVO code. Regardless of vacation time, it's hard to believe that they wouldn't plan out the back-ups along with a strategy to keep the conveyor belt of applications moving. I'm sure someone must question them or get them to project the monthly applications completed by the month etc. There has to be some accountability somewhere.

A friend of mine had her hubby's PPR with landing on July 30th. They had applied in May 2015.
