For me had interview 25 October, 26 October pre arrival invitation in my cic Account and on 5 November travel history form filling request with personal history from October 2016 until present and to send back within 5 days back to VO , any hint ?

4-6 weeks or even earlier. Check your respective VO thread to know 'average time line' to receive PPR after successful interview.

Hey.

I made a spousal sponsorship application in December 2016. My wife got a interview request last month. Interview was scheduled for today at New Delhi Office. Since I was also in India, I accompanied her to the interview this morning. We had a wonderful 'typically Canadian' Visa officer. She was firm but pleasant at the same time.
She interviewed us separately asking questions like when we met, when we got married. About my Residency and future plans in Canada also asking my wife why it took us 3yrs 4-5 visa application details to finally apply for immigration. Also We have two yrs old baby so proving relationship was genuine or not was quite easy...
At the end of the interviews she told us she's convinced Its a genuine relationship so she's approving the application. However She did not keep my wife or daughters passport and told us we may get a email soon regarding medical.
Thats all.

Now anyone else has similar experience, how long will it normally take after a positive interview to recieve

heyy can u tell me what did u say on why it took you 2to 3 years to apply and was she convinced on that ,.. as in our case we applied 2 years after marriage .

You are from which country? Can you elaborate your story please. I didn't understand rukhsati case 2015. What exactly happened with your lawyer? Meanwhile I will encourage you to go through old pages of this particular thread so that you may better understand some of the issues associated with your file. Also please ask your husband/sponsor to immediately submit for GCMS notes.

Don't worry about your interview. You have enough time to prepare well and face interview successfully.

Hi , i AM from pakistan karachi , husband is a canadian citizen we got married in 2014 aug and collected our papers by 2015 submitted to the lawyer all the time we were thinking he has submitted and we didn't know the whole process but later in 2016 we got to know he never submitted due to which there was a long gap and then we actually submitted the application in 2017 .. our file was transferred to london vo on 19th june and i got a email for interview for 5th of december now i'm not sure what to say to the officer as to why we delayed the case .. the other issue is i'm worried about it my husband came to pakistan in january 2017 he didn't visit after after marriage .. is it going to be difficult to convince them in this situation?

How is that possible that your lawyer did not submit your file? Didnt you or husband ask for any documentation or keep any checks on him. You will have to answer honestly and smartly.

i know it was the first time we were placing an application and had no idea .. our careless ness and bad luck aswell . but unfortunately thats how it is keeping my fingers crossed

Do you have proof of communication with your lawyer..emails etc that shows that you had sent your application to the lawyer for submission 2 years ago? If yes then take that to the interview.

If asked tell them exactly why it got delayed to submit the application. Take evidence if you have.

Gather all tangible relationship proofs right from day one. Practice mock video interview and repeat to improve.

If possible take your husband to the interview and let the interviewer know about it. I recommend this strongly to anyone married recently without having children together.

You and your husband will have to be on the same page on any random questions if asked separately.

As you have submitted whatever they asked, you may expect PPR in 4-6 weeks after successful completion of BGC.

i just completed the interview on 7th nov .. and Alhamdulillah it was so easy and smooth ..the visa oficer was a canadian guy and very friendly ..though in the beggining he tried to make to confused..but as i kept answering confidently then he became friendly .. he didn't ask me any question about how well i know my husband .. he only asked ho our relation grew and why we got maried at a certain point ..thats all .. and he said he will approve

Thank you .. and yes i hope so i allready got med req within 1 hour of my interview and then the next day i got an email which is about the pre arrival services by canada gov . That letter says me and my spouse can now receivie pre arrival facilities .. i hope i pass the medical fast ..
