Hello everyone.
I was just wondering.
I received SA and AIP on July 31 2018 and nothing since then. It says decision made on both sides in ECAS. I am surprised as I see a lot of people receiving their landing appointment very quick after that but in about 10 days it'll be 1 month for me.. is that normal or should I be worried ?

September 26, 2017 : Application received

- November 27, 2017 : Email asking to link my application (with my name and my UIC (principal applicant))

- November 27, 2017 : Email saying that my application is now linked

- November 28, 2017 : Email (on the same email address as the day before) saying that they received the application (with my common law partner's name and his UIC (sponsor))

- November 28, 2017 : Request schedule A + police records

- April 12, 2018 : Medical request (passed and approved a few weeks later in May)

- July 30, 2018 : AIP + SA.

Weird, on ECAS the sponsor side went from “In process” back to “Application Received”. On the PA side it still says “In process” but says “We started processing [PA’s name] application on August 17, 2018.” Did this happen to anyone else, and did you get a decision soon after that? I’m à September 26, 2017 applicant.

Hi !
I have decision made on both sides but it also says that they started processing my application in July.
Still waiting for DM letter and landing appointment

What date in July did it say they started processing? Like how long between "Processing" and when you got SA/AIP?

So weird the way the system works haha. Maybe they're just waiting for the final results of your background check to give you the landing letter?

It says they started processing July 24 2018. And got AIP July 30th and SA July 31.

I don't know, I called them and they said they already checked everything. The person on the phone said that they just had to check one more thing but wouldn't tell me what. This is so stressful lol

What steps does it list under the Sponsorship Application side? For me I just have:
  1. We received your application to sponsor PA on September 26, 2017.
  2. We started processing your application on November 27, 2017.
I'm sure yours will be done soon once they get that final step done! Wonder what it could be though...maybe just a background check thing that's taking a while to process.

Hello everyone, I am the applicant of September 28. Last Wednesday, IRCC sent me an email requesting additional documents, I sent it immediately and on Thursday they received (according to mycic account).

Do you think my process will take more time?

Everyone already has a landing interview and I'm still waiting and stressing more.

What kind of documents did they want? Proof of cohabitation? From what I've seen there are some people who get requests for documents and then they get approved very quickly after that, so as long as you provide sufficiently what they requested it probably won't make things much longer.

I'm a September 26 applicant and have nothing since the medical request, so you shouldn't worry too much. Many October applicants are getting approved before September applicants because they're being processed at different offices (September mostly at Vancouver, October at Mississauga).

Strange indeed. It might be just a glitch in the system, but it's likely a positive sign. They pick up your file. I would expect SA and AIP soon.

Depending on your location, the invitation letters comes as soon as a week or as late as 6-8 weeks after DM. I would not worry for the moment. If within the next 2-3 weeks you don't get it, try calling IRCC. And if unsuccessful in contacting IRCC, contact your MP. But, give it another 2-3 weeks, I'm quite sure it will come within that timeframe.

Hard to say, but typically when they request additional documents, they give you at least a month to send them. Again, typically, they won't check your application until that delays expires. So it might indeed delay slightly your application, but not by much. This is assuming that IRCC will be satisfied with what you sent.

They asked for Notice of Assessment from Canada Revenue. Other person told me that he send it with the appication and I didnt.

Vancouver was the processing center that contactme last wednesday and before that, I havent any update since medical passed.

Yes, I was wondering the same, but the weird thing is that they told me to send it directly to an email account but I also did in MyCIc too.
For me, that was weird and they gave me only two weeks. That why I ask for advices, experiences...
