That application is completely cancelled. Once they get the package with full fees, you'll be back in the queue but will be placed behind others ahead of you. You'll likely have to wait another 2 - 3 months from when your OWP application with full payment is re-received by the Vegreville office.

The correct fee is $255: $100 for the work permit holder, and then $155 for some other fee which the name is escaping me. I too submitted only the $100 fee and had my OWP returned to me in the mail with a letter stating that I have insufficient fees. I have the full timeline in my signature - good luck! Get it in ASAP to minimize any more waiting :[

Not sure about that. I would recommend checking on your Ecas, link -> https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do
Fill up the information and you will see what kind of correspondence was sent to you. If it shows that something had been sent to you, you would have to definitely call the immigration office or just upload requested documents police check and schedule A by yourself.

schedule A and police check uploaded last december. background check before says “not applicable”, now it says “in process” too. don’t know since when it changed.

they said background check is the longest part- takes months. so it’s normal not to hear anything from them for months.

I was just able to link it today on Feb 9th, 2018. and it's showing that the Vegreville office received it January 8th, 2018.

Can you please tell me how did you link your OWP ,even i have a same timeline for OWP . I tried linking but failed to link.

same here! my OWP application was received on jan 10th and i could link the application online finally yesterday on feb 9th. this is my second time applying for OWP since it is almost expiring because of my old passport expiry date.. the last time, it only took less than 2 months to receive the OWP by mail. (i applied in the end of may and got it in the middle of july) i was anxious when I would be getting it because i did not know i could link the OWP application to my online account... but reading through this forum, looks like it will take about 3 months.

i could link it with my first/last name and birth date. i kept trying it everyday and yesterday, i was finally able to! so if you applied around the same time as us, you will soon be able to as well i'm sure. it has to be in the system.

Application received Jan 31, 2017, PCC/Sched A around April, meds done around July, then nothing...until start of Jan we were asked for proof of tenancy (probably because we had moved provinces in the interim). Last week got the final determination letter and attended the appointment this week. No questions asked, just passports checked and stamped, and told to go to Service Canada to get a new SIN. Good luck to everyone waiting!

AOR Received: January 26
Able to link PR to CIC account: January 28
Able to link OWP to CIC account: February 8
Schedule A + Police certificate sent: January 30

The PR status still Your Action Is Required
and the Review of additional documents is The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.

The OWP status is Submitted
