Hi, there are somebody have the same situation as me? Applied on April 2016 but I haven't received AIP or DM yet..no email..no news for now

1. We received your application to sponsor xxx on April 20, 2016.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May 25, 2016.
3. We started processing your application on May 24, 2016.

Sponsored person

1. We received xxx's application for permanent residence on April 20, 2016.
2. Medical results have been received.

April 2016 applicant here too, still waiting, haven't heard anything from them in months, and we have the same messages you posted, except it says Decision Made on Sponsor (which has been like that for months and we never got an email about that) but the 3 things you posted under sponsor are the same and applicant same too (except for a bit different days)

Have you tried calling CIC?

My local MP called CIC today and got an update, i.e . everything is up to date ( no additional documents required). They are only waiting on security check is which already began and in process.

Hoping to hear soon on DM on applicant side.

Hang in there everyone it will happen before the end of 2017.

Same here.... My local MP called and CIC said they are waiting for security check.... we were able to find out when security was started but CIC said they can't make any comments how long it will takes... hope we all get our landing this year!

Happy to hear everyone elses MP offices are helping out...good thing Im not holding my breath for mine to get back to me.
Another visit or call to MP is happening tomorrow for me
I just want my landing appt, thats it, everything else is done.

Obviously, they wont make a comment about it. But at least it gives some kinda hope that the process started and that is the only thing left.

COPR is only issued AT the landing interview. Not before. Same story for PPR's. Those are for outland applicants. Given your timeline, you likely won't see anything until closer to December this year. They are working on September now from what I recall seeing.

Landed today! Interview was really straight forward. It literally took 5-10 minutes. Waiting for PR card now!
