have you had SA or AIP yet? some applicants got DM around the 1-year mark of their applications or you can go through this thread to have an idea of other apps.

it depends on a lot of factors like whether you had medicals passed or cic needs additional docs from you.

They are working on the third or fourth week of April 2016 currently...

Hello everyone!!
I have been reading this thread for quite a while now, but didn't have anything to update since I didn't receive anything from CIC after getting a PCC request. But yesterday I got a medical request. I did complete all the tests on the same day as well. I am the PA and my wife is sponsoring me.
Here is the timeline:
File received: 27 April 2016
AOR: 29 June 2016
PCC Request: 10 August 2016
Submitted PCC & Additional Relationship proofs: Mid September
Medical Request: 1 June 2017
Medical Done: 1 June 2017
And I am applying from Edmonton.

I had some questions now that I wanted to ask from experienced people, here:
1. How long does it usually take to receive medical tests by CIC, and after that how long to get passed? "I did my medical test where eMedical was available so they will be sending all that on my behalf"
2. I haven't got SA and AIP yet, Should I expect them soon?
3. Do I still have chances to be the lucky winner of a relationship interview?
4. Any guess that, How long more left till a DM? Thank You so much

They get medical results immediately. It can. Take 2 days to 2 months for them to show as passed. Normally a week or so.

Usually they send the medical request just after SA lately. So you should check ECAS for SA... Any day now!

You can always win the relationship lottery. Up to AIP. After AIP, they can still conduct a QA interview...

I think they're working on 13.5mos from date of receipt...

Finally after much worrying, I got my landing appointment for next week.
Jan 2016 In-land Spousal Applicant ( When applied website said it would take 26 months)
Submitted FBI background with application, not medical
Request for medical mid Feb 2017- completed March 18th : Sponsor approval around the same time.

Notice for landing June 2 - appointment within 7 days.

Thanks everyone for your support. I hope everyone else that is waiting this helps you. 17 months start to finish

Congrats!

Hi,

Can anyone please confirm what will be the correct address to mail the Proof of relationship and cohabitation documents as the letter from CPC Mississauga requesting the proofs , states to send it via CSE only and on google there are multiple addresses for CPC Mississauga.

Courier address (no public drop-offs)
2 Robert Speck Parkway,
Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8

Simply send a CSE stating the proofs requested are too large for CSE upload, so they've been sent via courier. As I suggested before, send the CSE after you have the courier receipt, so you can include the courier and tracking number.

Is that true? I have my representative also but i just don't want to drop her coz i thought it will makes us more advantage to have lawyer while our application on process.. thanks

No advantage at all. In fact, it slows things down because there is another path in the communication chain.

Yes, I have sent things via CSE and via courier...

It would do the same, but you cannot use a courier if you use that address. What @profiler wrote you is the correct address if you want to use courier (FedEx, ups,...)

Ok , yeah so my package would be around 4lbs , so I will have to send it by courier only , right ?
Purolator is also for courier ,right ?

Yes, purolator is also a courier. That also allows you to track your package and to have a proof of delivery. as @profiler suggested you can send the tracking number via the cse saying you sent them the required documents.
