Good afternoon guys. Reading through some of the posts, I got a little confused regarding the landing location. I am in Vancouver, do we need to fly somewhere to land? Or how does the CIC assign landing locations? I had assumed it was geographically, but now I am questioning that assumption.

You'll land in Vancity. It's assigned by postal code usually. Calgary was overrun so they sent some to Vancity..

I too crossed border 2 times (one for a conference by airport, second time a fun drive . Never been in trouble re-entering

Ya Calgary. I applied June 01, 2016 (According to their reception date), AOR June 23rd and 29th. Now nothing since then, I included all PCCs, I voluntarily did my medical in Nov (now shows passed ). Since then nothing really.ope to hear something soon. But Aren't Nov 2015s done by Jan 2017?

I applied in niv 2015, got owp on feb 22, 2016. Then aug 18, 2016 i got Spousal Approval. Now yesterday i got my AIP and DM. Now waiting for the landing interview
