Yes!

GCMS notes processing time is supposed to be 30 days and for many they have been going a lot longer than 30 days. So yes they are not fulfilling the processing time.

hi again everyone, and thanks for ur advices
as I said previously, I'm the sponsor of my wife and recently I heard my father is sick with cancer, he lives in lebanon, I have to go see him and it might take some time before I return back to Canada; I know my wife can't join me on this trip but the question is how will my abcence from canada effect the application of my wife? I don't know how long ill be out of the country maybe a month or two , I ve heard that sometime they send an agent to your home in the middle of the night to verify if you live together or not
my timeline is as follow
applied application April 25 2016
they rec it according to their system June 2 2016
they requested csq 5 august 2016
received csa 1 November 2016

And I can assure you that we have a very simple case. There is no logical reason for this delay. I met my MP twice already. He ordered notes (This is much faster than if we require them ourselves) and that should arrive today. So I hope he will be able to push for us. Whenever I call IRCC, I am told that the processing time is 26 months, and that I should wait.

Ayass, so sorry about your Dad.

Are you a PR or a Citizen? If you are the sponsor and a PR you must remain in Canada while the application is in process. If you are a Citizen then you can leave but not sure how long. I totally empathize with you wanting to go.

I am so mad that they are still using the 26 month excuse when they have indicated that the majority of applications submitted before December 7th, 2016 will be completed by December 2017.

I think with all respect Cic wont keep their word for the 12 months process of 80% of all applications. I m sure refugees and people crossing the border from the states always come before us... This is my feeling and hope I m wrong

Hi, I am Jan 2016 inland applicant and I submitted medicals upfront. Now I received new medical request today. I am eight weeks pregnant now and I am not supposed to do chest xray. I have following two questions, it would be great if someone can help with that. Thanks a lot!!

1) Should I inform CIC that I am pregnant before the medical test?
2) Or the panel physician will inform in his report?
3) Will there be delay in the application processing, since I am pregnant? I went through the CIC website, it was mentioned that we need to inform CIC only if there is a child birth.
