Guys,

I my CIC online status is weird. Before, if i check using my spouses UCI number it was showing like...

1. we received your application
2. we sent you acknowledgement letter
3. we started processing your application

BUT now i just checked and only shows... 1. we received your application.
I dont know whats going on? Do you guys also got removed step 2 and 3 on CIC online status too?

2. I have answered this one a few times in the last few days.
3. It's a failed bulk update/upload of data to the dinosaur ECAS. Look in myCIC and you will probably find everything is just fine.

this whole update/communication issue would be mute if the whole process would not take any longer than the criminal and security admissibility check (2-3 months or less)

after that 12-months

We’re working to finalize applications received before December 7, 2016 by the end of December 2017.

Yes, but if you listen and read the statements made -- cases will continue to come out as they are now until the backlog is gone. The backlog purge will be completed before Dec 2017.

I assume so. But you should really link your application to myCIC.

That's everything in the queue before December 7. They will continue the same pace clearing that inventory out, while trying to keep up with their aggressive promise of 12 months.

I suspect they will be done all of the backlog by summer tbh.
