They really can't, when you are under the posted time. If you applied before December 7 2016, that's 26 months.

I got SA and AIP in Mid September 2017, and as today I can now see DM on Applicant side in ECAS. But no change/email/message in mycic account. I hope I get that soon with landing interview. I am May 2016 applicant.

@sylvain1 I feel bad for @meaningful1 because, now he will have to walk.... don't tell him that the trail is 890km long.

It's a nice piece of the Bruce Trail ( see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Trail ) it is considered an UNESCO world bio-reserve.

I have never actually done it myself. Maybe something for us to do, when the boy is a little older. Usually we just stay in the Grimsby area of the trail. It gives us the view-reward at the top of the escarpment, and can be easily done in a few hours -- though you might get short of breath on the way up! The steps are a little steep!

C'mon -- it's not THAT bad. If you pick up a fishing license, you can probably feed off the land for the week it will probably take to get from Niagara to Tobermory (the tip of the peninsula that 'separates' Georgian Bay with lake Huron). If you have a dog, bring them too .

They aren't a really busy office. So, likely within 2-4 weeks I would expect to land. If it takes longer than 8, reach out to them or an MP to get help with scheduling.

I wasn't able to call since i had some work to be done in my lunch, any idea for how long it can take for them to send a correspondence in regards to it as when i go to my cic , it is still the same as before and even in eCas, even though it shows decision made, inside the only things are medical have been received as the last thing.

If there was no Procedural Fairness letter, or letter expressing concern, then it's 100% a positive result. You would know long before they refused an application.

Congrats. They will send you something shortly to state the local CIC office will schedule a landing appointment.

My wife had DM and within an hour got an invite from Kitchener. Some folks get emails within a few hours/days, and some don't get anything for a few weeks. If I was you, I'd relax for now, and just let them come to you.

It just says they have finished processing and either: this office will contact you with an interview appointment, or they include the invitation to the interview in the same message. That's where your PR application "will be finalized" -- it means land.

Awesome! so now its all about waiting for them to contact me and you mentioned that they will email me and not update through my cic account right? mine doesnt work at all, and i have contacted them but no luck in regards to any updates received from it, everytime i had to call and had them sent an email to me for the correspondence.
