It's better to do it now, there will be a 3-months period not covered, so it's better to start the clock on it as soon as possible. @profiler will be able to answer much better than me, but I would say that you need to bring the AIP letter along with a photo ID, plus something that will show he is residing in Ontario (lease or something like that). In Quebec, I could sign a form declaring that my wife was living with me, that served as a proof she was residing in Quebec.

When I lots in to check my status...it shows that application received.. When I click on that thing it says 3 points..1st one is we received your file July 2017 2nd point is about some correspondence they sent to my lawyer I think they are saying about police clearence which I've already sent in April and 3rd point is medical received that's all it shows

Thanks for your response! Do you know if as with the pictures, there´s a limit to other documents as well? We were going to include letter that friends and family wrote us backing up our relationship, and I wonder if that would count for that limit.
