Spousal Sponsorship - IMM5490 and Item 25 of Checklist

I am preparing application package for sponsorship of my spouse from India, and am following the checklist to arrange the documents.

What confuses me is that item 25 of the checklist (proof of relationship to sponsor) is duplicative with IMM 5490. That is, the type of evidence that this item 25 refers to is already included together with my IMM 5490 form.

How did you guys organize your application? For item 25, did you say that refer to IMM 5490?

Hi there, I'm about finish and ready to send in my application and what I did regarding your situation was I created a supporting document package (pertaining all supporting documents between my spouse and I) as well as a essay from both of us and in the essay we reference sections. For example, see supporting
documents appendix 1 all wedding pictures. And for each of our 11 page individual essays we appendix sections related to questions on the forms . Was a lot of work and drove me crazy. But it will work out well in the long run

So in your IMM5490 and Item 25 of the Checklist - did you basically say something to the effect of "please see my supporting document package"?

And no I didn't actually indicate It on the checklist. What I did was made a table of contents and mentioned where all supporting documents are located I think also that would be a great idea to mention that on the checklist too- "reference to all supporting documents see: supporting documents/poof of relationship package". That's what I did- again lots of Work, I can't wait to get rid of it !!! Hopefully my package wollbe out early next week.
