Hi There,

Myself and my wife have filed our papers for a family sponsorship visa.
My wife is Canadian and she is sponsoring me, a British citizen.
We are currently living outside of Canada and applied externally.

We are now waiting for our letter from the Embassy as our application
status now reads "Decision Made". Does anybody know how long it
takes for this letter to arrive? We have waited 3 weeks and will be
travelling for 2 months, so will not be at home if the letter arrives.

Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks,
Steve

HI,it usually takes 1-2 weeks aftr DM to get your visa.
Congrtulations!!

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum so i would like some advice. I am in Canada and is currently been sponsored by my wife, my ecas is currently at Decision Made as i've went through all the prior procedures. I've recently got an email stating that i should pay the ROPR fee of $490 and that i should fax CIC Scarborough a clear copy of my passport, assuming that this is a good sign i am wondering what is the next step and how long will it take for me to landed?

good sign indeed, and shouldn't be longer than 4-6 weeks after you pay your $490
