AOR2 is a letter to let you know that they have received your application. AOR1 from Canada office and next AOR2 by VO in our cases Bogota.

I have not received any email or letter by mail.

Thank you for the clarification Catherine27 we got the aor2 on December 16th from VO in Bogota. So now just says "in process" hope that's a good sign. If we have similar dates, yours should be in process too. My husband is Canadian but I am living in Ecuador so that's why our VO is Bogota. Hope everything goes smooth for all of us

I received my AOR2 on January 21. I can access Ecas with my info but it still doesn't show my medical exams.

Hi Catherine27, I am just waiting for a DM now, the file has been in bogota since december, so I hope maybe by march I get some positive answer.

Do you know how long its taking for bogota to process the apps?

Hello im a october 2014 applicant i landed in november 2015 my whole process took exactly 12 months, i got interviewed, if you guys interested in known how an interview is i will love to answer all ur questions..good luck everyone

Thank you for responding and congrats on your landing. 12 months? Was your case a bit more complicated or did you have any delays for particular reasons? How did the interview go? I am hoping I don't get called for interviews because I suffer with anxiety and well that just adds to my stress. We have 2 children together and have been married since 2011 but altogether 8 years now. Did they call you or email you a month in advance before iterview? I sent in my app on sept 2015 so I know a fe wmore months will pass before I have answers. Just hope it is NOT the 12 months or longer

Hello... well lets say yes my case was kind of complicated becouse I lived in 4 different countrys and in one of them the background checks took 2 months to get the answer, and of course when you are call for an interview that adds probably 1 or 2 more months sometimes, the cic will call you an email you around 15 to 20 days before the interview, but dont worry if your relationship is genuine is not a problem, people usually think its a bad thing to be calling to an interview, but sometimes is just to clarify some stuffs, thats what happen to me,ut you said you had kids etc etc, so I dont think you will be calling for one.....I really wish you a good luck and speedy prossesing, be patient this is a waiting game... let us know about ur process, if tou need to ask more question feel free to ask, also for the landing process etc.. bye bye and good luck

Thank you Paul. Well I am happy you landed and you're over the waiting game. I will keep you guys updated. I am also in the september 2015 applicants thread.

I have not lived in another country so mine should not be a problem. I sent everything with police and medical upfront. I have 4 lines on Ecas so I should be ok?

I got an email today, They request for payment of police check, CSQ, update of a form and the pics!!

I think they are good news and soon it is going to finish this process!!
