Anyone who has gotten a medical done recently can you please state if a Polio Certificate was required?

Polio certificate is necessary, you can take the vaccination from any government hospital, and they will provide you the certificate, it take only 20 to 30 minutes depends on the number of patients in the hospital.
if you go for the medical and tell them you forgot the polio certificates they make conduct the medical but they dont submit your polio certificate... so when you land in Canada they ask for your polio certificates, because they are not in the file..... so please get the polio certificate....

Oh I am sorry, just one more question, while submitting your application, what did you mention, like you have done nikkah only or you have done rukhsati as well.......

I have researched they dont accept nikkah only, they consider marriage is complete once rukhsati is done....

I am asking you this question, because if you mentioned rukhsati was done before and now u tell them you are going for rukhsati, they may say that you did not provide the correct info... which may not be the positive sign for your application....anyways best of luck

No no. I said i didnt do rukhsati. There was no false info in my application.
i did nikah and told them i did nikah and there was a reasoning for not doing rukhsati.
but thats okay. I dont mind going and getting it done. I can go and have a memorable trip.

Just the timeline is stressfull. Allah ka shuker hai that my mp told me that the letter was coming. So now everything is planned.

Thanks handsup...reason for my line of questioning is the email sent by the Embassy makes no mention of getting a polio certificate. Someone in the group mentioned that they went for a medical and where asked for one. If it wasn't for this forum and the assistance of other people i would have had no idea.

Yes I m waiting for my pp , they dint ask for attested documents . I want to know about it as I want to continue my studies in Canada too. That's y m asking . If anybody know the answer plz guide .

hello everyone...

What is the minimum time CHC-Islamabad could take to send the passport back.... My wife's passport reached CHC Islamabad today monday morning, I am assuming i may get it back in 2 weeks....


so anyone who received their passport in November or december, how many days it takes for CHC to stamp the visa and send it back...

You definitely won't get it back in two weeks. The Islamabad office is probably the laziest and most efficient one that exists! CHC in Islamabad received my husband's passport on November 18 and he still hasn't gotten it back. It's been nearly 5 weeks now and he is still waiting to get it back. We sent an e-mail to the London office on Dec 18 (exactly one month) and my local MP is doing an inquiry on our behalf to find out when he will get the passport back. I wish the Islamabad office would take less chai breaks and actually do the simple tasks that are assigned to them more efficiently and quickly! Very frustrating!
