I got an email from London Office last month (12-June) and they required Police Certificate from Pakistan and UAE.

It took approx 17days to get my police certificate from Pakistan only.

I sent the Original Police Certificate to Islamabad Visa Office via Gerry's Dropbox and I replied to that email with attached copy of Police Certificate.

My question is: I sent the documents to Islamabad not London office. Is that OK? What happened next? What should I do now?

--------------------
Original Email:

We are writing with regards to your family-class application for permanent residence in Canada.

Please note that, as you may already be aware, this office has taken over responsibility for the processing of family-class applications from the Visa Office in Islamabad.

Please be advised that, in order for us to proceed with your application, we require the following items:
- Original, updated Police Certificates from Pakistan and UAE.

If any documents are not written in either English or French, please enclose a certified translation in addition to a photocopy of the original document. Please submit the requested documentation/information to us within 30 days. Please submit all the above documents to us at the same time, quoting your file number (shown in the subject line above) on all correspondence, including on the envelope.

Should you not respond within 30 days, your application will be assessed based on the information we have on file at that time, and may lead to a refusal of your application. Once the application is refused, you would be able to reapply, but you would be required to submit a new application and pay a new processing fee. The new application would be assessed according to the Canadian Immigration Act and Regulations in force at the time that the new application was received.

Sincerely,

'raykhan79' when did you apply for sponsorship?

It depends on how many areas you have lived. They said ours had been started last year when in fact it wasn't and the final Visa Officer was real upset about this. But it could take a week to 2 months but have patience it will do fast In Sha Allah Have faith in Allah....

I am sure when you get request for Police Certificate in email, it is mentioned "Original". So for police certificate you can not send the scanned copies.
