Spousal and open work permit fees

Hi! I am applying for my wife's spousal visa and open work permit. There are two fees and I want to know if I can make one cheque out for both. Does I have to get a certified cheque from the bank?

You need to pay your fees online.
You need to submit 2 separate receipts with your app.
1 for 255 for the OWP
and
1 for the PR app...either 550 or 1040 (depending if you are paying for the right of permanent residence fee now or later).

I am confused on whether I need to pay for the open work permit ($100) and Work permit (including extensions) ($155) or just one of them?

I was trying to pay the fees for my wife's inland PR application and OWP right now. However, when I checked the fees by answering a set of questions using the above link (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?countrySelect=CA&lob=wp), it is showing me only $155 for Work permit (including extensions) – per person. It is not showing the $100 Open work permit holder fees.

Has there been any chance in the fee structure recently??

No there hasn't. The Open work permit holder fee is shown 2 lines below the work permit fee when i click on the link.

Agreed, it is shown there. However, when you progress to pay the fees, it gives two options to proceed. In the first option, it asks you a series of questions to determine the total fees and when I answer all the questions (like I am applying for Inland PR and also for OWP), then on the final page it shows me a total fees of $1040 (PR) + $155 (OWP). It does not show the $100 fee there. That is what's confusing me!

I paid $255, included the $100 fees for Open work permit holder as well. I paid the PR and OWP fees separately.

VFS put owp separately from other fees. And first I got only study,v work permit fee reciepts by mail. After 10 days I got receipt for oWP separately.
