Hello folks,
I have applied PR for my wife under family sponsor and we got the file number.
We also received an email saying my sponsorship has been successful.
Checking online for the my wife is fine but when I'm trying to log in using the same PR card/UCI/file number nothing is shown..
Any one else have this issue?

Thanks in advance.

This is a common issue. I just received DM and my husband, the sponsor, was never able to log into his side of the system ever.

I had the same issue, but it took a week before i could log on there. When did you receive the email?

My wife also received another email saying the address on my file and my wife's were different.
That is true because she can change her address as she can open the application, but I can't.

Is there a way other than calling and updating the address?
I've been trying them for the past 20 days and never able to connect.

The sponsor have a different UCI number than the applicant. It is not the same UCI number. Check your approval letter and you will find your UCI number on there.

send a case specific inquiry with the new address information. don't assume it will get updated correctly on ecas. ecas isn't reliable, and it doesn't matter what ecas says. what matters is the information cbsa has in the actual file.

The UCI and the file number appeared to be the same.

That looks like the best option for me.

Thanks for the response.
