Hello,
I am a born Canadian Citizen. My wife is from the UK and became a Canadian Citizen last year. We live in Alberta. My wife’s sister (my sister in law) is from the UK. She is 21, unmarried, no children. Is it possible for my wife or myself to sponsor her for PR? She visits us here often and loves Canada and would love to be able to move here. She has a post secondary diploma and is currently working in the UK. If we wouldn’t be able to sponsor her for PR would she be able to apply for a Open Work Visa so she could visit longer and be able to work here during that time? Would she be able to apply for a Work Visa and PR at the same time? I searched online for answers to these questions but found many contradictory answers so it’s causing some confusion. Please let us know if you have any information. Thanks in advance!
