2) In form IMM 5768, question 8 – Minimum necessary income. Including my parents the family size would be 3, so is $47,051 correct amount to put there?
Correct

shouldn't it be $45,040, minimum of 2012,2013 and 2014? Because it doesn't say maximum anywhere, neither does it specify the year.

Few other questions. These are a bit complicated imho.

I was working in a full time role until September 2015 but since have been working as an Independent Consultant and started my own incorporation.

1) In the form IMM 5768, question 14, I will check box with Self Employed, correct?

2) In the same form, question 15, I should provide details of self employment in the first line and then continue with my full time employment history?

3)In the same form question 15. Under Family size for entire history, would putting 1 be correct ( I was married but since July 2015 I am separated)?

Thank you again guys for your help!
:)

Guys can some one please advise..thanks again

I called CIC few times since morning.
Different answers.

Agent 1) This is confusing, i need to consult with my advisor. He was away for 1 hour and call got disconnected automatically.

Agent 2) In question number 8, MNI is for 2014 and in question 9, income should be matched with MNI for respective year and not the amount in box 8, as incorrectly stated on form.

Agent 3) Fill 2014 MNI and write a supporting letter explaining the circumstances and apply.

It doesnt matter where your parent land, if the sponsor lives in quebec, CSQ is required.
Wrong! CSQ is not required at this stage. Only after sponsor is accepted and before docss are submitted to Quebec.

I also called the CIC two days back and the agent told me that they are instructed not to help on filling the forms.

No - 2012, 2013 and 2014 (if you are planning on sponsoring your parents in January 2016).

Thats the confusion. They are asking for Notice of assessments or option C print out for 2014, 2013,2012 which makes sense because NOA will be not be available for 2015 that early. But in employment history they are asking till present which I understand is till 2015 Dec.

Any thought from other members.

I know it seems confusion. But it makes sense to ask for 2012, 2013, 2014 noa or option c printout as you said, 2015 noa wont be available until around may or june depending on when you filed your taxes.

Plus it also make sense to list your employment history up to dec 31, 2015 since CIC will be asking for option C printout for 2015, 2016 and future years until the year your parents land as PR.

Since my income was over all 3 taxation year's limit, I didn't have any issue using the MAX. In fact, most people from 2015 used same I believe. There is no specification or logic, we just used the 'recent' one.

As you said "it doesn't say maximum anywhere", well, it doesn't say to use the minimum either.

Q15 : Is the family size includes the sponsored person, in other words, is the same as determined for minimum income.

I guess, everyone will use the courier service like Fedex, DHL, Xpress post etc. Is the below address correct for courier:

Case Processing Centre – Mississauga PGP
Parents and grandparents sponsorship
2 Robert Speck Parkway, Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
