I have Canadian passport, I am trying to sponsor my spouse to become permanent resident. When going through the checklist from IRCC, I see a birth certificate as general document and another country specific for China a notarized copy of the medical certificate of birth issued by the ministry of health of the People’s Republic of China. So the normal birth certificate(translated) and another notarized (and translated) medical certificate together for the birth certificate I guess?
