Dani - Sadly the interview was difficult...Our VO believes that we are married just for canadian papers They have requested more documentation and I guess we will go from there...from what I understand, no final decisions have been made, but this makes me very sad but more determined to prove ourselves. For my husband, there were a lot of questions about his movements over the last 5-10 years....each case is really different.

All I can say is be prepared to give your whole heart, because how you say something is just as important as what you say

Jenni... so so sorry to hear about the difficult interview! What did the VO say exactly? She really said that??? that you got married just for canadian papers? Can you describe her to me? Maybe it is the same one my husband got interview with! The first thing she told him when he sat in front of her was: "I don't believe your marriage is real. Once you are in Canada, you won't live with your wife".

Sadly I wasn't able to be there for the interview, so I'm just going on my what my husband said, but according to him she said it outright once and implied it several times throughout the interview...I understand that she is trying to prevent fraudulent immigration, but he and i were both so hurt by this. Now she want the policy security papers from Spain...so that's what we will do!

my husband's interview today went really well. The VO is nice to him, she was impressed with his knowledge of English. she said she would not say if visa approved yet.

she told him that all she need is a letter from my mother and express from her heart about my husband and support us, especially him and her income statements from 2011 to 2013 and her signature on letter and statement then fax it to the Embassy. why VO asked for it because I stay in Morocco with my husband for a year and been away from Canada for so long. that's all she need then will give my husband a call or email.

I hope she approve it!

he said you guys do not need to be nervous while you are going there for a interview , take it easy and have a long breath and stay gentle and relax!!! It will be fine. and smile for the women who will interview you . all will be good, and inchallah we are all hope that everyone will be approved visa and be with his life.

Thanks Habibti!! The VO didn't say yes or no about issuing visa yet. I am so anxious to know about her final decision! My mother fax the required documents to the Embassy last night. I hope that Embassy get it!

I wonder why VO copy of the first page of my passport? my husband bring my passport and my Moroccan ID card to show that I am here in Morocco with him.

our VO didn't give our dossier of application and documents. she kept all email messages we recently printed out. Is it a good sign?

as you know about My mother already faxed her information and letter to the Embassy.

It is nerve racking not knowing if it is approved or not.

It is my understanding that VO don't give back the file to applicants. Yes, it is nerve racking not knowing... we had to wait 2 months to get an answer. Each passing day, we kept asking ourselves about the outcome of the interview. Like I said before, I have a feeling you will be approved. I don't see a problem. You lived with your husband for one year and there are no red flags regarding your case, no?

From what I have read here, it does not take long if you get approved and all documents have been checked. Could be one to two weeks, in a few cases a little longer. Our case is different as it was a complex case.
