No problem...I try to warn everyone because if he arrives at 18:00 and then has to spend the time coming through customs and then immigration on top of it...there is no way he will make it on a flight that night...he will be sleeping in the airport.

I don't know if it is possible for you to meet him in Montreal or not...but definitely look for other options.

OH MY GOSH!!!!..... not even a chance.... my first trip was Rabat to Paris to Montreal to Toronto...supposed to land in Toronto at 5:15 ... yea right ... 4 hour delay in Paris...then 2.5 hours in line at customs in Montreal...I arrived in Toronto at 12:15!!!

So even if he made it to Montreal on time...he has to take care of all immigration there and I just cannot see it happening ... might make it to Toronto....but would be sleeping there instead.

I hate to be negative...I mean anything is possible...but in my travels to and from there I have learned to book about 3 to 4 hours in between....it is unfortunate that you have to make the 2 stops in Canada.

Yeah! That's exactly what I experienced when I was to fly from Agadir to Casablanca. I missed my flight from casablanca to frankfurt and I was stuck at the airport in Casablanca at 1 in the morning to 12 in the afternoon! They are so ignorant over there. Didn't even want to help me. I was basically almost in tears because the supervisor basically covered her ears and said "I dont speak english!!!!" so loud that everyone heard. And then after all that, the immigration officer checked my alberta id and explained to me that the reason why they held me was because the photo on my passport is different than what I look now. I was like wtf, that was me when I was 17 years old!!!! And I even had my id and papers for my marriage to provide evidence but they didn't even accept that. My husband made such a huge commotion in the Agadir Airport that they even got the Manager in the Agadir airport involved. They were all surprised to see how rude the staff in Air Maroc is in Casablanca. So the manager got me a flight back to Agadir. My husband was so pissed him and his family litterally drove me to Casablanca just so I can avoid going on Air Maroc.

Anyways, yeah, I'm going to try to make sure that everything goes well. It's his first time flying so I want to avoid as much hassel as much as I can.

I was talking to a coworker of mine and she told me that she knew someone who married a lady from the philippines and when the lady got here, immigration interviewed her for 3 hours.... I am so worried since my husband will get his visa but with no interview... Could immigration still interview him too?

Immigration can take as long as their little hearts desire. If there is any concerns they will hold him until they are sure he is legit.... :'(

I don't understand how there can be no flights from Montreal to Edmonton??...but what do I know..LOL

I know that the first TA I had made a mess out of my travels. I went to another and she made travels since then like a dream!!

Sorry to hear about your situation in Agadir... I know that the one woman in Rabat was pretty snotty but when she figured out she was actually WRONG she lightened up. I have been lucky because overall I find that it is individuals that are idiots and not the companies as a whole.

I really hope and pray you will find the easiest route and that there is the least amount of delay... I know I will be just as anxious when it is our turn for this.

I know that my husband got approved but he wasnt told yet BUT i've been reading that if they receive the medical and make the decision your approved.. With that said, will they still interview him or will he just get his visa on Wednesday? He didn't get his phone call yet to pick up his visa but i'm hoping they call tomorrow.

I would imagine that if they have made a decision there will be no interview necessary.

oh yeah, sure.

i sent our papers to mississauga february 1st, they received them february 3rd; sent them to rabat, they received them March 10th, processed them June 10th and then he got a call today-June 14th to pick up his visa in 3 weeks which is about July 6th. So 3 months for the process and almost 4 months after the process til he can come but I've been without him since October 27th I believe and we got married July 26th. The process was suppose to be finished 11 months from March 10th so in February but Allah does what he wills.. I'm a muslim..
