Hello! I have a question: Has anyone tried to sponsor family who has done time in prison in their country of origin? I am considering sponsoring my mom and dad, and they both have done around 5 years for non violent, white-collar crimes.

It's possible in many circumstances but the devil is in the details. You will need to determine if they are inadmissible and have to go through the rehabilitation process.
